The most aggressive E type that I own is an early Canadian type E with a Black Handle with no lugs on the side of the spring. It shaves very much like a PAL Injector and ever so smooth, but will cut when provoked. My Canadian Black handled E type is something to behold. Moreover, I have a USA made Seamed handled E type 3 that was made during the war for the US Navy.As a rule of thumb the earlier Canadian E types tended to be more aggressive than the later ones. The earlier ones can be identified by having SHICK INJECTOR stamped on the back of the spring and the later ones have EVERSHARP stamped on the back of the spring. The USA made E types were discontinued on 1946 when Eversharp introduced the type G 1 Model, but were continued to be made for many years after in Canada with both the Butter Scotch Seamless & the seamed handle. One thing needs some clarification though. The so called G 1 type seamed handle that was introduced by the Eversharp takeover from the Repeating Razor Company on 1946 was a Clone of the earlier Canadian & USA made E types with a seamed handle. In other words the seamed handles were getting made by the Repeating Razor Company for many years before the type G 1 ever saw the light of day. Yeah, I have to concur with what Stevie just said. Some of the Canadian E types are far more aggressive than their USA made counterparts. That said. One of the Canadian E types that I have with a Seamed handle is almost as mild as the later type G 1.As Stevie said their are many Canadian type Es' but their doesn't appear to any recorded typology like the USA made models. To muddy the waters further I have another Canadian E type with a seamed handle that is quite aggressive.
